Classes

Hatha Yoga: (class duration 1h15min)
These classes are suitable for all levels. Sivananda Integral Hatha Yoga is a form of Yoga that integrates the body, breath, mind and spirit. It not only teaches techniques of physical control and relaxation through asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) but also strengthens the body and increases flexibility by working with every muscle, nerve and gland. Yoga also works on a deeper level on the Chakras (energy centers), and all this combined creates a unique sensation of well-being and calmness.

Prenatal Yoga: (class duration 1h15min)
Every mom to be is welcome. This class offers you tools to cope with the hormonal and emotional changes in your body. We will work on keeping your body strong and flexible, preparing it for labour and on a deeper level releasing tensions and fears through deep relaxation and meditation. This class will help and improve your posture as your tummy expands, helping to relieve back ache in the later stage of pregnancy. It will boost your energy and vitality and will help to stabalise your emotions.

Body Intelligence: (class duration 1h15min)
The aim of body intelligence is to prevent injuries, stabilise joints and correct muscular imbalances in the body that result from, or lead to, poor posture, back or neck pain and muscle stiffness. In addition to that, focusing on the body throughout class keeps brining one’s thoughts back into the present moment allowing the mind to calm down.Regular practice of BI leads to better muscle awareness and control, together with improved flexibility and balance. It decreases stress levels and improves metabolism. Body intelligence classes incorporate the use of small equipment such as balls, bands and foam blocks and are suitable for all ages and all fitness levels from expecting moms to sports fanatics. Each class is refreshingly different and adapted based on the ability and experience of those in attendance. Conscious breathing, alignment and movement control are strongly emphasised in each class, with personal instruction throughout to avoid any pain or strain. A guided relaxation at the end of each class is an integral part of the body intelligence experience. You’ll leave classes feeling re-energized, calm and centered.

Surfers class: (class duration 1h15min)
This class is specially designed for men and surfers. It will work your body and your mind to bring awareness and balance, improving not only your flexibility but will help you to gain strength.

Sivananda Sequence: (class duration 1h15min)
The Sivananda Sequence always follows a certain routine with subtle variations. It is the perfect class to really shut your mind off and experience the Asanas on a deep level. This class is suitable for all levels and it is a good choice if you want to build up a personal practice at home.
